Hey There!

Welcome to my life.

My names Alexa, but I get too many Amazon Alexa jokes so I go by Lex haha! I’m from central Iowa. I’ve been taking on sessions for 4 years and have had my business professionally for about 2 years! I’ve always loved photography and had a passion for taking photos whether that was on my iPod touch back in 2013 or my first camera in 2015! I love every step of the photography process. I love meeting my clients, shooting with them, editing their galleries, and hearing them fall in love with their photos! I didn’t start doing wedding photography until October 2020 and since then I’ve done 20+ weddings! My goal with my photography is to not create amazing content for myself, but to capture my clients the way I see them. Giving them the confidence they should have. All of my clients are amazing and beautiful. I strongly believe that everyone should have stunning photos that make them love themselves. That is my job when booking me as your photographer.

Here’s a little bit about my life outside of photography…

I’m engaged to my wonderful high school sweetheart and we will be getting married next September! It feels weird being on the other side of weddings and planning my own, but it’s a lot of fun! Im a total dog mom to our yorkie/dachshund pup named Bean.

I currently am doing photography full time along with attending beauty school to be an esthetician.

I enjoy going to concerts, paddle boarding at the lake, and traveling.
